CPE Expired

I have the same problem in the last week 

Finally.. I tought it happen to me, only. But i just got SW update (v4.0 instead v4.5 for others region). Hopefully it can solve the issue. Keep monitoring.. Last update via express on last saturday

This is still a problem for me using the Garmin connect app. CPE info never updates. It only works in Garmin express

This is still a problem on v4.5.  Only way to get an up-to-date CPE file was to sync with Garmin Express.   Annoying as it takes ages to get a 3D GPS fix (green ring).

I have reported the issue to Garmin, I'm not sure they understand though, we are on round 3 of correspondence, the latest suggestion being to delete the CPE file and plug it into Garmin express...

Syncing with Garmin Express fixed the GPS issue.  It is has not recurred.  It was not necessary to delete the CPE file beforehand in my case.

Hi I have the same problem. I've gone for my usual 5km run and it has recorded it as shorter. I've checked my GPS is on and it is. It does tell me the my CPE info has expired. Any ideas on how I can fix this? It's been like this for the last 4 days. 

Only using garmin express  on windows currently works for me, garmin connect doesn't update the file.

Try to reset default setting and its work
