Drive auto starts as a walk

Anyone else had an issue where when you're driving your garmin auto starts a walk after 10 minutes? Never had it before today and it happened three times.

Check your car's suspension?

I've had activity trackers log steps when I'm applauding at the theater, so perhaps it's picking up a rough road or drive as walking.

My car has fine suspension and have never had any version of the VA automatically start a walk or run activity while driving.

This happens to me sometimes; never looked into it in detail; but I noticed I will be driving then I will get alerted that I have met my goal in steps; this has happened multiple times; not sure if it was counting steps or was just very close anyway. And my vehicles suspension was fine and wasn't on any rough roads
