Hi Garmin Gang!

i recently bought Garmin Vivoactive 4 - switching from Apple, as I wanted more accurate physical data plus I do prefer the circle face!

however I’m having mixed issues with app downloading via iPhone. Ranging from watch faces to sleep apps and music apps, there’s a tendency for the red error message appearing at the bottom of the IQ screen. It also seems to vary how accurately it syncs. Bluetooth connection is ok.

is there anything I’m missing. Is it best done from pc rather than phone?

  • Are you saying you get the "IQ!" error?

    Make sure you've updated to the latest firmware on the watch (4.40 for ROW devices)  Trying to run some apps on old FW can cause this.

    Thanks, it is performed “update” though I can’t see exactly what version - any tips?

    however It seems to be uploading apps more readily now
