GPS v2.90

Hi!

I have just got the GPS v2.90 update on my VA4.

I opened this topic to collect experiences.

Tomorrow I will give it a try and let you know my opinion.

Yo la he forzado desde el reloj y también se me ha actualizado de la v2.80 la nueva v2.90. A ver si mejoran algo los trazados sobre el mapa, ya que hasta ahora han sido un despropósito.

I've only used it once prior to knowing what it was for (Bug fix to improve satellite acquisition time). I'll have to see what it's like finishing one gps activity and starting another as this was rather inconvenient for logging shoe mileage.

EDIT: Much improved at best I'm getting a lock in 20m as I walk instead of 80m.

Nada, el trazado sigue igual que con la anterior versión. He de decir que Garmin en la descripción de esta v2.90 dice: "Mejoras en la adquisición de señal GPS", pero no dice nada de que haya nada nuevo en cuanto a mejoras en el track

el track mejora muchisimo y es casi perfecto si se ajusta la grabacion por segundo y GPS + GALILEO

I have tried it this morning and I would say it works fine. Signal acquisition was as fast as before. Accuracy was ok. I was hoping an improved power consumption, but not really.

Probaré la combinación GPS+GALILEO, pero viendo lo que me ha hecho hoy con sólo GPS mucho tendrá que mejorar

I have noticed that smart recording is much better, per second it should be too.

The vivo 4 has improved a lot in a month.
