Nueva versión GPS 2.80

Acabo de comprobar desde el WiFi del VA4 y me ha saltado la nueva actualización.

Comprobaremos si los ha mejorado el trazado en los mapeos.

Why skip it? I've taken the update as there isn't much to lose staying on 2.70. I'll test it out tomorrow hopefully it's an improvement.

I took the update because I have been so disappointed in 2.70. I am just hoping 2.80 is an improvement. Have not been able to test it yet. Fingers crossed.

Just tested it and it seems pretty much the same on a run. I tried the 1Hz data setting on the short walk back. It is still pretty much unusable cutting corners, meandering and passing through the middle of houses. I don't have a set route so I can't comment on distance accuracy. Setting GPS+GLONASS.

had lots of battery drain after installing 2.80, got it fixed after swapping GPS modes around and back (GPS -> Galileo -> Glonas -> GPS)

How did you do this? The only place I could find to change this was by modifying an activity setting.

I also noticed an increased battery consumption and a longer time to get the GPS signal.

Just tried GPS + Glonass, didn't notice any difference compared to 2.7. The track is still weaving and pretty inaccurate. I bought a Garmin as they were supposedly the best when it came to GPS tracking....
