Recover activity data after crash

Hi,

My watch crashed during saving walk activity data this morning - a watch full restart, blank display, then  empty triangle, activity icons, and back to watch face. Checking the widgets showed that the walk activity is not in the history, and the steps and calories have not been recorded.

Checking the Connect app (Android) shows the activity data had made it to the server ok and appears in the history there - but it does not have the steps or calories data, I guess that did not get synced before the watch crashed.

I also noticed that on Connect other data such as heart rate, body battery, stress, sleep, and respiration data is not shown for the time from last midnight until the time of the watch crash, but the data is shown on the watch. Forcing a sync from the watch or Connect does not result in it appearing in the Connect app.

So I now have activities shown in Connect that are not known to the watch, and data on the watch not known to Connect.  Is there anyway to sync the two up?

Thanks

And my watch has crashed/rebooted again after saving an activity.

And again the activity appears on the dashboard, but none of the other stats - hr, steps, etc. are updated.

Updating is taking place over wifi, not bluetooth which appears to be working fine.  A few other activities during the week updated over bluetooth without a problem.

Perhaps the issue is the wifi stack is dodgy and can crash the watch - don't use it?
