VA4 - Screenprotector

Is a screenprotector really necessary.

Whit the new bezel the screen is not longer underneath it. So I think more vulnerable for scratches?

I don't feel like adding a screen protector but I've the risk is to big I see no other choice to buy one.

  • actually I am fairly disapointed with scratch resistant level and I would 100% recommend screen protector to everybody - I have my watches for something around one month, I use them every day and I believe I'm quite careful with them but I already have two scratches on screen and I'm not aware of any direct contact with anything.

So I have ordered a screenshield and hope it will hide them a little - since they are visible only with correct angle and light combination

I also do not recommend anyone to try to remove scratches on their own. On the internet, there is a lot of guaranteed nstructions on how to remove scratches from gorrila glass by polishing it with toothpase or something simmilar, but it is not working, it is making things worse - area where you do this is visible since you probably remove somekind of top layer of the glass

  • Will these screen protectors won't fall off in the pool?

I also have a scratch, no idea how it go there....

  • I just got mine screen protector today and I am quite happy about it. It is almost unvisible (when one finally manage to stick it properly) and scratches below are well hidden.- if you dont know where to look for, you wont find them

regarding the pool I'm not able to answer right now, after shower it seems to be fine...

I did not have any problem with the cheap screen protector I stuck on my vivoactive 4. I have been swimming with it many times and it has always remained solidly on the screen.
