I apologize if this has been addressed before but I cannot figure out how to search the forums and google didn't help.
I just received my new watch for Christmas, coming from a fitbit. I am not a very active person but am always trying to be more healthy and less sedentary. I walk a lot indoors/march in place, anything I can throw in during my busy day to get less inactive time. With fitbit, I could march in place or march around the house, for example, and it would tell me how many steps I took in that time of "activity". When I do the same with this watch, it tells me that I was active, registering usually a walk or an elliptical, but it doesn't seem to tell me the number of steps I took? Instead it shows my silly GPS going around in circles around my house and my pace, which I am not really interested in. Is there something I am missing? I would really like to see how many steps I was taking in that 20 minute march, as an example.
Aside from that, I am having a hard time getting used to this from Fitbit. The sleep monitoring is so basic and rather dismal, the battery life is HORRID (charge every two days even without pulse ox, gps, wifi, or music, etc), and I have a really hard time navigating the app and the watch - the menu just is a maze of circular info. Anyway, too late to return so I am stuck with it, just trying to work out some of the basic annoyances.
Thank you in advance!
