Inaccurate gps

Inaccurate gps on VA4.

Did a u turn at 5k mark but the route far from overlap. Also showed me running into homes. is this possible to rectify? I was on gps + Gilead

Have you tried enabling 1-second recording?

As per DC Rainmaker: “by default, Garmin devices don’t record data every 1-second. Instead, they use what’s called ‘Smart Recording’, which means they record data usually every 4-7 seconds. This means that sometimes you miss data you care about, or even cut corners. It takes a few seconds within the settings to enable 1-Second Recording rates. It doesn’t impact battery life, rather, only files take a tiny bit more space (but seriously, on most Garmin devices you could store thousands of hours of workouts before you ran out of space).”

It was on "smart" i'll try 1second recording. Had half a mind to wear VA3 on one arm and VA4 on the other just to compare!! Thanks much
