I know this is same issue as VA4 users are having, but I want to document it.
My First Avenger watch, received this week and immediately updated to 3.60 via Garmin Express, won't turn off the HR sensor when watch is off. ALSO HR SENSOR DOES NOT TURN OFF EVEN AFTER I DISABLE WRIST HR IN SETTINGS!
A power cycle turns it off--but only until I wear the watch again and it starts up without shutting down.
I also own Fenix 6 Ti, F6X Sapphire, F5X, and Vivosmart 4. I KNOW Garmin generally works these things out, but this is a very BASIC bug and basic hardware functionality to MISS in testing!
Why doesn't Garmin send out a 100 units to those of us who volunteer to catch at least the basic stuff before they release hardware or even new firmware!?
Of course I did support ticket with Garmin on the issue via email.
