Just updated to SW 3.80 recently. Now I notice that my Vivoactive 4 is leaking battery like crazy, like 30% per day without doing any activity compare to 10-15% per day previously.
Anyone experiencing this issue with SW 3.80?

Yes, I have noticed an increase in battery drain rate with 3.80. The 3.80 "upgrade" happened Saturday around 5PM. I have not changed anything else. Watch face is Quattro. Pulse Ox is only on…
The same. I noted that my battery is draining a lot faster than normal. It went from 100% battery to 47% within 24 hours. I didn't do any activity. whereas before the update I was able to go 3-4 days with…
I "chatted" with Garmin Support this AM and this has dropped my VA4 battery drain to less than 1% per hour: Turn off the Heart rate sensor (Settings, Wrist Heart Rate, in the stats field, slide the slider to OFF). Reboot (i.e. hold the top button for 15 seconds or more). Turn the Heart Rate sensor back on (rebooting turned mine on automatically). Let's see if this better behavior is "sticky" - i.e. survives my next GPS-tracked activity.
I also told them about the "is anyone reading this" sentiment on this forum, and was told they do read it, but don't generally post here. The requested action is to call or "chat" with Support. 800-800-1020.
I have this too. If I go to the control menu and turn off Bluetooth to the phone the battery life goes from 30% in 24 hours to less than 10% in 24 hours.
What I notice also is the Bluetooth symbol flashing indicating the watch is searching for the phone but only if the Garmin Connect app is closed. If you leave the app open on the phone the Bluetooth symbol on the watch doesn’t flash and stays connected. I think the watch battery is being used searching for the phone. I hope Garmin-Blake see this and looks into this as the possible problem
If I factory reset the watch, can I trust Garmin Connect when syncing everything back? (I cannot really back-up anything anyway...)
Also, another thing: I just noticed I can turn off wrist based HR but then it won't be used for activities either. Can I just turn on 24hr HR? (I haven't found it anywhere...)
