Number of steps during activity

Hello. I have a question.

I recently bought a Vivoactive 4S and yesterday I took my first walk with the new watch. I tracked the activity with GPS. Afterwards I wanted to look up the number of steps taken during this activity, so I can input this number to calculate my average step distance. But I can't find this information anywhere in the activity summary.

I'm sure the activity was tracked just fine, the synchronization was also fine, and I believe the total number of steps for yesterday does include the number of steps taking during this activity. I would just like to know how many steps I've taken during this tracked activity.

Does anyone know where to find this?

I had Steps to FIT installed, but turns out I haven't added it into the data screens.

Looks like you have to hit the upper button, choose walk(for example) and before catching gps or starting the actual workout, you swipe up and go into the settings -> data screens -> screen1(or 2, or 3 if enabled) -> edit data fields -> tap the screen -> ConnectIQ Screens -> Steps to FIT.

Excellent solution, thanks. It worked for me, I also agree with others that this should be standard delivered from Garmin.

Can you provide steps on how to do this? Just got my vivoactive 4s yesterday, so everything is new and confusing still.
