Activity stops automatically after 15 min break

There is NO Resume later (and basically resume option) on the Vivo Series. That's exactly the point. There's start and stop. And stop is activated automatically or manually but a 15 minute stop will end the activity. (without prompting you) This is probably to avoid unstopped events by accident. Forerunner or Fenix series have an advanced pause menu.

Oh.. Okay. Got it. For the Fenix series also it will end the activity to save battery. For me ,usually i just don't pause it and let it run.

I had a 30-second warning before the Walking activity was being saved after 15 minutes break but it was only for Walk. Suddenly after last weekend software update, this disappeared from Walk as well :( any idea how to get it back?

I am not even getting 15 minutes! It's too bad because I otherwise like the VivoSport quite a bit but it is useless for long hikes. I can pause the activity when we stop to rest but after about 3 minutes (I haven't timed it exactly) it asks if you want to save the activity. I can re-pause a couple times if I am paying close attention but eventually it just finishes the activity.

Is there a way to stitch all these activities together into one? On a 20 mile hike, I'll often have 3 or 4 different activities.

(Auto-pause does not work if your hikes involve climbing or very technical terrain. It keeps entering/exiting pause mode when you have to slow down for these.)

If you use Hike2+, you can pause as long as you like without an auto save.  You can also do the same when using it to record a walk.

It doesn't do auto-pause, as yes, there are times you're not moving that fast, but still moving.

Looks great. Sadly, my VivoSport is not listed among the supported devices.

The vivosport doesn't support Connect IQ apps at all.  I thought you had a vivoactive 4.

I experience this on my vivomove 3. Very frustrating.

I am also kindly requesting to fix this issue (VivoActive 4).
