Turning off Headset to stop listening to music.

When I stop (pause) music and turn off the headset the watch starts automatically searching my headset in the background.

I have to manually stop the search under Settings->Sensors.

I think stopping the music by just hitting pause and turning off the headset without disconnecting it manually uses up a lot of battery life. The watch is searching 24/7 for the headset.

I have a really long battery life when I remember this.

So anyone with batterylife issues should check if the watch is searching for a headset in the background.

Maybe this should be improved somehow.... or is there an other way to disconnect the headset and stop the music in one step?

  • Truning off the headphones is how I always stop playing music, with no adverse effects.

Sensors& Accessorys to check is a catch 22, in that when you go there, it initiates an attempt  to connect to the sensors so it appears it's always trying.

ok thanks - still trying to figure out why my batterylife is now so nice. After 3 days including 1,5 hours of GPS activity with music I still got 54%... I used to have 2% drain per hour....
