I have now given up on the Jabras. They will connect, but continue to drop out as soon as I do anything.  I then have to repair them every time they drop out. Very Annoying!!

  • Vivoactive 4 just got new Bluetooth firmware. Does it improve connection with Jabra?

  • Yes! Finally managed to get them paired, connected and music playing! Thanks, Garmin team!!!

  • Hi, I have the same problem. Can you please let me know how did you fix it? What i need to do?

Hi, after few months Garmin rolled out an update and the issue was fixed for me. Sometimes it struggles to connect after I had connected the earphones to another device. Usually putting the earphones back to the case and out again helps. Hope this helps.

  • Hi, tried all of this but just can't seem to pair them.  Any further news/ideas?  Thanks.

  • Try turning your phone's bluetooth off before powering on your Jabras. You don't have to unpair them from your phone... As a matter of fact, unpairing from the phone changes nothing on the earbuds. It doesn't erase or change any configuration on their side. The only thing that changes is that your phone no longer accepts any incoming connections from the earbuds until they are paired again. The same happens if you just turn the phone's bluetooth off. ;)

This worked with my Jabra Elite 75t and I have had no problems with them since. But when I use them with the VA4, I don't have my phone around to interfere anyway.

  • Hi ! I got quite the same problem with my headphones Jabra Elite Active 65t. When I try to connect them from the Music menu in the settings, it connects but the headphones turn off directly after. I succeeded to keep them connected by directly connect them from the music widget. But as soon as I want to start another app (including running) the headphones turn off and restart without connecting again to the watch. Therefore I cannot listen to music doing my exercise and listen to the alerts of my training program, which was the first purpose of buying this watch (instead of using my phone). Could the Garmin team help me? Thanks
