VA4 Freezing, battery issues and lane count swimming

I have my VA4 now for 2 wks. No issues till now. VA4 is freezing multiple times a day and while swimming lanes are not counted per lane anymore but per 8 lanes. 

Battery used to last for at least 6 days, but now only 3 days....

Are there more people encountering these issues?

Garmin, please solve these issues.

    I have the device for three weeks now. I have better battery life since the update to 3.50.

    Lengths during swimming are indeed not updated, but they are counted correctly if you can swim continuously. I use "distance" as work around, that does update every length. You can use "lap length" as well, which updates every length as well.

    Good to see someone else using a Garmin watch for swimming. There are not a lot of experiences of Garmin users swimming with their devices.

    Did you restart the device? Update to the latest version? Installed an app recently? I once had the same problem with an app that was crashing and keeping GPS and Bluetooth active. And I removed Spotify and Deezer for the same reasons. Didn't use them anyway

    I have 3.50 installed and restarting does work indeed. Removing spotify is worth trying indeed.

    Hi, I'm facing same issue.  Watch works 3 days and every day its freezing.  Also it does  not show temperature during activity
