Double Tap is very difficult!

Double tap only works when I do it almost impossibly fast. It takes me about 10-15 tries each time. Is there anyway around this?

    When do you use double tap? I never seem to need it.

    I just realized I have the vivosmart 4, not vivoactive 4.

    There are some tricks to tap better ;)

    The Vivosmart 4 has no touch screen! So the tracker gets an input through the motion sensor (right word in english???). 

    Try to tap not directly on the screen. Instead try to tap more from the bottom (more from the band to the edge of the display).

    I can not explain it right, sorry... But if you tap from top directly to the display, it gets only a small impulse. When you tap more from the side/bottom it gets a bigger impulse... try it and write again. If you don´t understand my strange translated words, i can make a picture ;)

    Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion. At the bottom of the screen is menu button, so if I tap there I get the menu. The instructions do say to double tap to do things such as start the timer, turn off an alarm etc, which does work if machine gun it with my fingers for a few seconds, but i have to stop everything and hyper focus on tapping like crazy.
