While charging, the pulse sensor did not turn off

I noticed that while I plug the wire to charge the VA4, the pulse sensor will not be turn off, and the green light keep flashing. It's kind of annoying and I have to turn off the watch. 

If there any config that I can do?

    same with mine, since SW 3.50 it keeps flashing green when removing watch from hand.
    With SW 2.70 i didn't have this issue.

    You could try to manually disable HR/PulseOX sensor from the app before charging? But it's a retarded workaround isn't it Slight smile

    My sensors do turn off. FW 3.50 after update I die a reset of the watch. Sinne then no issues.

    It was not turning off at all, not wearing it or charging. After reset, now is turning HRM sensor off.

    So you're saying after upgrade to 3.50, the reboot is not sufficient, we need to factory reset it as well?!

    Looks like. Simple reboot didn't help. Besides that, watch was working fine and had decent battery life.

    I have same issue. If I turn off, then turn back on, the issue is solved. But then when I charge it again, the problem is back the next day. Turning off and then turning back on only helps on that day, problem comes back next day (maybe because pulse ox is on at night).

    On SW 3.8 Factory now, favtory solves everything?

    Version 3.80. After charging the green lights don't stop, but switching the watch off and on resolve the problem for me. 

    Probably we need to do it after every battery charge.

    I have the same issue, I am new to Garmin and thought this was normal!  While charging with SW 3.8, Vivioactive 4 continues to fast flicker green heartrate/o2 sensor light.  Probably 10 times per second.

    Bought my VA4 several days ago and I have the same issue - it just won’t stop blinking. It does not matter if it is charging, after workout or just wearing it.. When I take it off my hand it starts blinking like crazy. After restart it works normally for 15-20 minutes and after that it is the same again.. Do you think it is a software problem, that will eventually get fixed sometime in the future or hardware problem? I need to know to decide whether to return it or not..
