Vivoactive 4 weather widget not working properly

If I unpair from my iphone, then pair back it works briefly. Stays on 'waiting for data'. Anyone else having this problem?

Not ironic at all. I'm sure the VA3, VA3 music, and VA4 widgets have a common code base (probably all the devices that support Connect IQ functionality).

The std weather widget isn't written in CIQ - it's part of the firmware, and CIQ is much different from a va1, to a vahr to a va3 to a va4.

Yes, on my Venu. Un-paring / re-pairing briefly fixes it, but nothing else. Super frustrating for a $400 watch.

Same here.

Tried everything I can think of: Pair/unpair watch from my iPhone, enabled/disabled location, multiple syncs still nothing.

It's is very sad that this is happening with a device like this.

Most likely will be returning this to shop as it definitely does not meet of what it claims...

Agree. I returned my Vivoactive 4 last week and purchased the Vivoactive 3 Music. Ironically, the VA 3 is having the same problem...

It appears that the only way to have a proper smart watch with Sort of physical assistant is to go with Samsung's watch :(

This seems to be happening on multiple devices, with the common thing being CGM/iOS, so look for an update to that.
