Is it possible to turn off the LEDs completely to save energy on VA 4?

I tried to turn off the HR sensors to save energy on my new Vivoactive 4. When I turn off the monitoring, the LEDs are still flashing all the time. Its impossible for me to turn them off. I turned off the HR monitoring, the pulsOX and I did not configured Garmin Pay. But still, the LEDs are still flashing!

Does anyone know how to turn off the LEDs completely?

I'm having the same problem. I've bought my Vivoactive 4 s 2 days ago and having some issues with the LEDs. At first it did stop when I took the watch of my wrist, but now it just keeps on flashing. Hope someone has an answer!

Mine is doing the same.  Sometimes I can take if off my wrist and the LEDs will turn off almost right away, but most of the time they are on full tilt.  Its almost like it thinks it is on the wrist and cannot detect a heart beat, so it increases the brightness.  The only work around I have found, which is pain, is to power it down when not wearing it.  Which I know sounds easy enough, but sometimes you just want to take it off to shower, or for long periods of typing.
