Bluetooth and All Sensors are death

Hi :),

My Vivoactive 3 was a great watch until now. A few evenings ago, I could see the Bluetooth was not working. Then all my sensors were dead, no HR, no green light, nothing.

Actually, the watch is working well while navigating on the menu and it looks fine, excepting sensors and the Bluetooth.

I reinstalled the Connect app, I have reset the watch twice, no result.

My watch is at my specialist friend, he checked if there is water or something wrong inside, but everything looks perfect. The battery works really well.

I have checked the other problems here on the forum, but I could not find this situation yet.

Hmm, did you clear the cache of the connect app and bluetooth ? On Android that is easy peasy, on IOS it means deleting and reinstalling as well as rebooting the iPhone I think.

There is a way to get the watch in test mode (search the forum) so you can check sensors and connectivity as well. No silver bullet, you will need to experiment. You can also try to search for a previous (beta) release and have it update to that and then again update to the current version. It might be hardware though, so check the test mode.

To access Test Mode:
1. With unit in “off” state, turn the unit on
2. As soon as the display turns on, press and hold the button
3. Wait for the unit to vibrate 3 times and release the button (there will be a long gap between the second
and third vibrations). The unit will then enter test mode.

Update for hhasert: I followed this thread, https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/healthandwellness/f/vivoactive-3-3-music/280278/sensor-hub-6-64-fix-information , and the watch is still in the same situation. After this software update, I could see a flash from the sensors, and that was everything.

Another detail: From the Bluetooth phone settings, I deleted the Watch, then I could re-pair it, but I can't see the watch in the Connect app. That means the Bluetooth part from this watch is not completely dead :).

I can see the watch in the Browser Connect app, but not on the Mobile app.

Update: I did all these things written above. Resetting, cache, on and off. I went from home and I left the watch on my desk. When I got back, I had notifications on the phone and on the watch, new pairing steps, and everything started to work well. I mean, after days/hours of trying, last evening the connection was running well... out of nowhere. Something happened. Thank you so much for your help, hhasert. I'll go back to my specialist friend to fix (glue) the watch body. I'm testing the watch until Monday and if everything works well, the watch is ok. He also said the hardware components are looking well.
