Move IQ and Auto Activity Start

From the Garmin Connect android app, I have switched on the "Move IQ" option. What ADDITIONAL functionality does the "Auto Activity Start" option provide, as I understand that the "Move IQ" option already recognizes when I start an activity?

Hello! The Auto Activity Start feature will allow the watch to create and save timed activities automatically when the Move IQ feature detects you are running or walking. These will display as actual activities in your activities history in Garmin Connect. When only Move IQ is turned on, these will not display as recorded activities but on your timeline data.

Hello. Is there a feature to detect automatically that you are doing some bike activity?
