Battery Drain

My Vivoactive 3 Music has had great battery life even during GPS activities until it suddenly died after a kitesurfing session. Since then it will only last in normal watch mode for a couple of hours max. It was out of coverage and not connnected to a phone for a week when it happened. I have factory reset it but the problem persists. Software Version: 6.00. GPS Version: 2.50. WI-FI Version: 2.50. TSC Version: 2.00. ANT/BLE/BT: 6.11.

Many thanks for any help

Hello! After the kitesurfing session, were you able to clean the watch? Here is a helpful article on instructions on how to clean your watch after using it in water:  https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=vGQRUduiFT769BBcbJDS07

Also, are you located in the Us or Canada?

  • Hi, I didn't specifically wash it as I have never needed to before. I am located in New Zealand.

  • Okay, we do recommend that customers try and wash their watch after using it in salt or pool water to help prevent build up on the watch over time. To help you further with your watch, please reach out to our Australia/New Zealand team, below is their contact information!
