Cant connect my Bluetooth headphones

Former Member

Hello, I'm having issues connecting my new VA3 music to my headphones, they cant 'find' them. I've followed the online advice and troubleshooting, turned off bluetooth on my phone just in case this is causing a problem and still the VA3 cant find them.

What am I doing wrong,,?

Thanks

Well that sort of defeats the point of buying the VA3 music Confused

I was having the same problem and was so frustrated.  I finally searched on the proper procedures to PAIR my headphones.  I felt really dumb.  I had been using my headphones for so long with other things that I just figured pairing meant to turn them on and my Garmin should recognize them.  As soon as I found out how to PAIR it with other devices, it worked.  Make sure you set up your headphones in pairing mode first, then go through the Garmin setup procedures.  Good luck.

  • I have been told by garmin tech support that jabra headphones will not reliably connect due to software issues on garmin’s part and they are not committed to resolving this.

That doesn't sound right. They literally said this? If so, I would call them directly to get another answer - https://support.garmin.com  I've been using the jabra Elite 65t  with the vivoactive 3 for the past 2 years without any issues whatsoever.
