Weather widget forecast wrong

Hello,

The information given in the weather widget is always wrong on my Venu.

The current temp is incorrect (and outside the "Max-Min range" shown in the same screen)

The hourly forecast is many degrees far away from the actual conditions, and completely different from any internet forecast.

I live in a relevant city, with airport (official weather station), all the privacy/location permissions are accepted, connected to the iPhone while running Garmin Gonnect in the background,...

No error messages; teh weather forecast updates regularly. it seems to work well, but the info got is totally wrong and useless.

Any clue?

I have an iPhone and keep my app opened and it’s still hit and miss with the weather. Sometimes correct and two minutes later it’s not.

Hello! Do you mean the weather on the widget changes to the incorrect weather two minutes later or do you mean it does not update with the current weather?

No Sorry, I just mean it’s hit and miss. Sometimes it’s right and other times it’s not. It’s even changes as I’m looking at it. Or gives me no weather info at all.

I think the mystery may be solved. My husband and I have different watch faces! When I scroll through my Venu the weather is correct but still incorrect on the watch face I have chosen. The connection error isn’t in the Garmin but the watch face refreshing or the weather would not be correct.

Okay, the weather data will only update every 20 minutes at most. Here is a helpful article on more information about the weather widget and troubleshooting.

Oh great! Thank you for letting me know. Which watch face are you using? Is it a Connect IQ one?

It still didn’t work but if I scroll through to the weather on my Garmin it is correct! Then it occurred to me that my husband and I have different watch faces! I switched face faces and it works. The defect is in the watch face I was using!
