Change the Map Coordinates Format

On my X1 during all the setup screens there was an option to choose which map coords to show.

I'm in the UK and I want to see OS Grid Ref, and I thought I chose that, but it is still showing Lat/Lon, so I can't have done that correctly.

I now can't find anywhere in the Settings to go and change this.

I think it should be in Settings > System > Advanced > Format but in there I just get Units, Pace/Speed and Start of Week, and it's not in Units. On my Epix there's another option called Pos. Format but I can't find Pos. Format anywhere, and it's not mentioned in the pdf manual.

Can anyone point me to where this can be changed, or do I need to do a factory reset and start again, surely not ??

I was unable to change the Pos. Format as well. I have submitted a support case and will update this post as information becomes available

I have had a reply from Garmin as I questioned this after the software update. This is the reply.

"Unfortunately it looks like the position format option has been removed as a design choice and it's a feature that may not come back in future - we apologise for any inconvenience

I find this extremely annoying. Garmin have let themselves down removing the option for the consumer. Not everyone wants a Fenix, but still enjoy walks/hikes that don't go on for days

That's a very poor response, well actually not so much the response, but the design decision to remove this option. Do you jknow if you can still choose a position format when setting the watch up after a factory reset, or have they removed it all together and you're stuck with Lat/Long ?
I'm not happy if I have to set my watch up again from scratch, but even more unhappy if I can't choose the position format to match my local maps

Hi mate

No I can't find the option. It's been removed completely. I bought it for the bigger screen when hiking. Plus it's more comfortable than wearing a fenix everyday. I would have returned it, but have now missed my window for returns with Amazon who I got it from.

Yes! Garmin, it is also an outdoor watch or is it just a smartwatch for a pleasant Sunday afternoon walk in good weather?
