How to remove the pre-loaded Thailand Rabbit card and replace it with my own?

Hi all,

if you happen to live in Thailand, it seems the watch comes with a pre-loaded Rabbit card, which can be used for payments and public transport in Thailand.

However, this card needs to be activated using a Thai ID, which they won't do in my case, as I do not have a Thai ID.

I have, however, an already activated physical Rabbit card that I used to be able to add to a previous Garmin watch. However, now, there is no such function; I can only add a Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or Discover card.

Question: How to remove the built-in Rabbit card?

And how to add my own?

A reset of the Garmin Pay function (after entering the PIN incorrectly 5 times) or a reset of the watch won't do; the unusable pre-loaded card remains in my Garmin Pay Wallet.

Thanks!

  • Sorted this myself - leaving it here in case:

the watch comes with a Rabbit card on the device, which can't be removed or exchanged with another Rabbit card. In the past, I was able to add my own Rabbit card, but this seems not possible any longer.

I was able to register the card on the new device at Siam (central) BTS station at the counter. Top-ups are possible at any station with cash, or with the Rabbit application on the phone - though it seems working only with Thai bank accounts.
