Venu X1 battery life after 10.63 update

I haven't done it because I had to return my watch before I heard about this reset procedure. But from what other users have said, you hold down the top button for greater than 30 seconds until the watch resets or restarts. 

If you look at the other thread, right next to this one. There's obviously an issue with "Smartphone Assist" draining in the background. I lost almost 50% overnight, but fixed the drain with a simple restart, no reset.

The hard reset has worked for me so far. I have not done the battery recalibration since the reset has worked so far.. Thanks

How did you make it? Start button opens the control panel? Did you press it how long? And what happened? Because there is no any official tutorial for 30sec button press?

I was lucky to be getting 24 hours out of mine, but I think I may have figured a fix for this battery drain issue. I tried the holding the top button for 30 seconds etc to do the soft reset about a week ago and it didn't help me at all.

Friday night I decided to let the watch completely drain to 0% while it was tracking my sleep and didn't put it back on charge for probably around 8 hours. I charged it to 97/98% and took it off charge at 11am Saturday morning when I was going out. That was 51 hours ago still have 72% battery. So this is looking like I'll get the advertised 8-9 days.

This may work for other people, I'd be interested to see if it does work on other devices. But instead of the usual 50-60% drain in 12 hours its now 6% so it does look a lot better.

OK quick update, I managed a full 6 days with 18% left before charging and this was with a few tracked activities thrown in. Watch was charged last night and put back on before bed. It's only used 6% so it does look like the drain is no longer happening on my device.
