My Garmin Express says Venu X1 not supported

I wanted to install music to my X1, but it says the device isn't supported. I get most updates happen via the app, but how do they release a watch not supported by their main software?

What Version number is showing in Garmin Express? You can find by going to Settings >About.

It should 7.25.0, if not, updating to the current version will help.

It is updated to 7.25.0 Mac version.

At what point in the process did you get the message? Adding to Garmin Express? Accessing the music portion of Express? If it occurred when accessing the music portion, which music app are you using?

I opened the Garmin express app on my Mac. Plugged in my Garmin Venue X1 and I got a message device wasn't supported. I closed the app and restarted an it worked.
