Can’t enable always on display

I have had my x1 for about a week and realized I cannot enable always on under settings, display and brightness. I am using a stock watch face and firmware 10.6. It is not during my sleep time but all day. Can anyone suggest what I should do.

Problem solved. I had cancelled downloading maps on latest upgrade. I had to sync, shut down for a minute, and reboot. Maps finished downloading and I can now enable always on.
