UPADATE: return the watch to service.

If someone has any question how the battery is holding, I will update this tread and we'll see if it can go for 6 days.

(I have gesture ON, and smartphone all the time connected, with a lot of massages and a few BT connections, - Sleep score with PULSE OX sensor ON, all night sleep recording. A lot off apps installing and uninstalling and setting them . Below you have my activity and what I do trough the day)

It appears that the watch has to do at least one cycle of discharge and charge to get it working good for the battery.

Day 0

22:00 - 92%

Day 1

08:00 - 89% (Took a easy day to relax, no data except smart watch)

19:10 - 81%

Day 2

09:00 - 76% (Took a easy day to relax, no data except smart watch)

21:00 - 72%

Day 3

8:00 - 69%

65% - (running for 30 minutes with ray ban meta glasses playing music and with HR strap)

55% - ( IR SAUNSA with HR strap for 1 hour)

21:00 - 50%

Day 4

06:00 - 46%

11:00 - 42%

(afternoon started 1h strength training and 1 hour of sauna,.) - a NEW PROBLEM come out. The watch is extreme in sensors, IF I did curl-ups to fast or if I at the bottom jerk a little it counter too many raps. (all the time). I had to fix my reps almost every set.) This is very annoying.

20:00 - 34% (Had a new PROBLEM.. my watch did not record the last 4 hours no data of HR, so no body battery, and not HR.. I had to reset the watch to get it going again.)

Day 5

06:00 - 29%

11:00 - 25% SENDING BACK TO GARMIN.

Garmin did not want to refund me, it said that I had registered it via phone, so I ca not return it anymore.,

So I gave the watch to Garmin service center

Problems:

- due to resetting watch at least once a day due to hart rate monitor frizzing up. And what most bothered me.

- REP counter in STREGHT. It counts almost x2 times of rep counts. All the time. Except if you do it slowly and with no jerk when moving.,

For 200 euro Chines watch I would swallow, but for Garmin and 800 euro watch this is unacceptable!!

Waiting what will happen now

I've had the Venu X1 for 2 days now and I'm glad I decided in favour of it. The display is extremely clear and sharp. The battery has not been convincing so far; I only have 18% left, but I assume that this will improve. In my opinion, this watch is more of a Vivoactive Ultra than a Venu. I miss the automatic recording of walking and running...

Otherwise a cool device

I think I saw a setting to enable automatic recording of running, and other stuff in setting trough phone. Go to Phone CONNECT app and look for it there.

It should be in the fitness option, but there is only the Move IQ switch...

After the initial setup, loading a watch face and testing on a bike ride I charged the battery last Saturday morning up to 100%. Since then I haven't recorded any activities, have used all night sleep monitoring and viewed endless notifications on the screen. 6 days later I am still on 30% which is impressive.
Avoiding betas for now unless something compelling comes along, they regularly drained the battery on my Venu 3.

Shut it down and restart it - then charge it to 100% - mine was at 80% on Monday and is at 38% today after 32 miles of running. Granted I also set it to turn the screen off unless I tap it - but initially the battery charge percentage was horrible and dropped 50% overnight.
