Positive and negative things

I have been using the watch for couple of days now.

The battery is great at fitness level, GPS on the bike and with working out.

Battery sucks literally when nothing happens. From 20:00 in the evening to 08:00 in the morning so 12h of sleeping it drained 40%.

The battery of this watch is really annoying,.

Today also stopped receiving the notifications. Can not fix it!. (tried resetting  / new connection ....)

Yesterday at the end of the workout it just gave me 130 BPM heartrate for 15 minutes strait. No ups or downs. Even wen I stopped it is was showing130bmp... I had to restart the watch for working again.

I like the LCD, and stretch program every hour. It is thin, light and I like the strap.

But I don't know. If I made a right decision to fork out 800 eur. Still have F7 pro.. but when I put it on my wrist now is just looks OLD...

  • Update. (working notifications)

Did reset a few times the watch did:

    - Notification access DONE...... was ON all the time
    - notification permission DONE...... was ON all the time
    - app settings notification DONE...... was ON all the time
    - watch notification DONE...... was ON all the time
    - setting on my watch DONE...... was ON all the time
    - reseting the watch
    - reseting the phone
    - clear cache on all apps.
    - closed the app CONNECT
    - my watch is connected to my phone. (I can use find my phone)

Well after clear cache and closed all apps, the notification started again.

Now I have to see what is going with battery drain. I removed all the apps that I installed yesterday :

    - Sauna

    - IQ store

    - face it (the watch face)

For now there are not much apps that are compatible with this watch , which is a shame, but I hope we just have to wait.

  • any upate of battery drain?
It's an Apple Watch from the battery point of view?

  • Can be wored over night to monitor the sleep?

  • After the uninstall the apps -it looks good. It went down from 47% to 44% in about 10 hours. Than I said to my self I'm going to charge it to 100% and see what is going on and not touching the charger for a few days. Will report back in a day how will it go. It is a little better than Apple watch for sure. (do not have it, but my cew co-workers have them and we where talking and comparing)

  • and please do wear it at night, to monitor the sleep and post the battery update.
    thank you very much

  • UPDATE:

It appears that the watch has to do at least one cycle of discharge and charge to get it working good for the battery.

Today great :Sleep score with PULSE OX sensor ON, all night sleep recording. Below you have my activity and what I do trough the day:

    Day 0

    22:00 - 92%

    Day 1

08:00 - 89% (Took a easy day to relax, no data except smart watch)

    19:10 - 81%

    Day 2

09:00 - 76%  (Took a easy day to relax, no data except smart watch)

    21:00 - 72%

    Day 3

    8:00 - 69%

65% - (running for 30 minutes with ray ban meta glasses playing music and with HR strap)

55% - ( IR SAUNSA with HR strap for 1 hour)

    21:00 - 50%

    Day 4

    06:00 - 46%

    11:00 - 42%

(afternoon started 1h strength training and 1 hour of sauna,.) - a NEW PROBLEM come out. The watch is extreme in sensor, IF I did curl ups to fast or if I at the bottom jerk a little it counter too many raps. (all the time)=. I had to fix my reps almost every set.)

    20:00 - 34%

    Day 5

  • and, when you have time, (assuming you are a sportive) make a one hour walk or 20 mins run...
During that time you have the GPS on and the DISPLAY ON (I think the default setting is the max brightness).

    Thank you

  • Had the same issue with battery - was at 90% when I went to sleep (wearing the watch and it went into sleep mode) and woke up with it at 45%.

I currently have the "gestures" turned off so the only way the screen will turn on is if I tap it - and I have brightness turned to "low" which is still WAY too high.

Having to charge this every day - or at best every 36 hours is no bueno...
