Venu goes premium (features and pricing)

Hello everyone, this is really incomprehensible, no ECG, no diving for 800€. I don't understand Garmin's choice given the price.

I think they made a lot of smart choices with this watch as it's a Venu...most innovative thing from Garmin watches in quite some time. I fully expect this experience to filter down to the Fenix, Forerunner, Vivoactive, etc... lines. Or hopefully they just kill those lines, and go with a Venu X1 Pro and Venu X1 SE or something.

I would never buy a 2 button watch where touch is needed to scroll...

If you want to dive along with the tiny percentage of people that do get a Fenix 8! 

That's my issue with this. I love the display but hardly use my touchscreen and especially not when in an activity putting lovely smudge marks across the display! 

What I don't get is the fact that typical Venue features, like the smart alarm from the VA6 or the evening report from the FR970 are missing. It will get them, I guess....but they should be part of the Venu package

Who knows what it will get. You buy any watch with what it has now. The you won't be disappointed if it doesn't get other features. 

No reason they can't add the 3 left buttons and make the watch a little thicker with more premium features for a Pro version...and with even less features for a SE type line. Garmin needs to get down to 4-5 watches and one OS

Why do they?. They are clearly selling all models well.
