Venu Sq Will Not Pair After ANT/BLE/BT (Bluetooth) Update to 3.60

Completely out of the blue fail to connect my Garmin sq with my Huawei p30 Lite (( it all started after my watch requested a bluetooth update this morning, I confirmed, it was obviously installed. Some time after I noticed that my watch was still disconnected despite the fact that internet was on.. But I did not think of it as a problem until I realised it stayed disconnected through the day while Internet and bluetooth were on! (( I went through all the steps of troubleshooting... restarted both devices, then unpaired the watch, and removed it from Garmin Connect, deinstalled Garmin Connect, then attempted to pair again - not happening, the search for device goes round and round. Got tired of continuously restarting my watch, then my phone and over again... Just why updates on Garmin is causing so much distress? Please Help? SOS! What do I do next to fix it?

  • I gave it the ol' reset to factory settings and synched to Garmin Express and now it seems fine. 

  • I have exactly the same problem , and have tried all the trouble shooting answers... extremely frustrating as I now have a watch that no longer does what I bought it for ! An immediate fix would be nice ! 

  • I have the exact same issue with my Venu Sq but I’m on iOS (version 15.4.1)

  • I tried that twice and it would sync momentarily, then lose connection and never be able to reestablish connectivity. 

  • My watch stoped working completely, is there anyway of resting or starting up.

  • I have same problem with Venu Sq. After software upgrade, bluetooth connectivity does not work. I have tried with 2 phones.

    Is there a way to downgrade?

  • Same issue with my Venus sq. Suddenly would not sync in the app and none of the troubleshooting steps work.

  • My 1-month-old Venu SQ is now useless after the bluetooth update. After the update I had to fool around with the watch and my phone to get it to reconnect. More problems surfaced, locked up after a run. Now I can't even turn it on. It connected to Garmin Express once, then disconnected by itself. Reboot the computer, the phone, watch still wont connect. Great update

  • An update regarding my problem - after playing around with troubleshooting steps for quite a bit I got tired if torturing my watch and phone and found nothing else to do but reset my watch to factory settings. It worked, I finally got my phone to see the watch and pair, had to restore my settings but now it is working. To be honest I am terrified what is there to come, what surprises this watch has in store as it is not the first trouble with my 4month old venu sq (( I previously experienced friquient disconnects which I fixed though playing with various settings, used instruction from this forum too.
