Battery Life

I just notice about 2 days ago that the battery life has dropped on my Venu Sq... I am going to turn off the bluetooth on my iphone so that I won't get updates from my text / emails / fb messager etc. The last iphone update a few weeks ago I did, after that I started getting text , fb messager , whatsapp etc on my Venu SQ.. before that I never did just phone calls. I switch over from an apple watch nike series 4 and one of the reason was the battery life. Any other options or recommendations on how to save batter life would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! If you only want to receive phone calls on your Venu Sq, on the watch you can go to Menu>Settings>Phone>Notifications>Not During Activity>Calls Only. This will help the watch not receive any notifications from texts/emails etc.

  • How many days are you getting?  A couple of the big battery users are always on display and the Pulse OX.  If you have always on display turned on I’d try and turn it off.  I just take Pulse OX on the fly or a night here and there to get an idea of my O2 while I sleep but mostly it is off.  I usually get 5-6 days of battery with a GPS walk most days and an elliptical workout a few days a week.  I do have notifications turned on.  If you want some notifications but not others then configure them on your iphone under notifications.  Your watch receives those notifications with “Notification Center” turned on and banner style “persistent”.   If “Notification Center” isn’t turned on they won’t get sent to your watch just will appear on your iPhone if banners or Lock Screen is turned on.
