Venu Sq 2 won't connect to Garmin Connect IQ Store on iphone

Hi!

Venu Sq 2 software is up to date.

Will connect to Garmin Express desktop app if I physically plug it in, but not via bluetooth or wi-fi. Garmin Connect Express version 7.27.0.0. 

Connects to Garmin Connect app on iphone (SE iOS 18.6.2), so it is recording data (body battery, stress, sleep, etc.) and I can see this also on the mac (Sequoia 15.6.1).  I can also see it in "Settings" on the iphone Garmin Connect app.

Below "Settings,"  though, it will not connect to Watch Face because it will not connect to Garmin Connect IQ Store on my phone.  When I click on Watch Face > Open Connect IQ Store, I can click on Device lower right of the screen and there is a red dot beside the image of the device (should be a green dot). On the Manage Device screen it says that the Venu Sq 2 is Not Connected.  

So, I'm hoping someone can help me to get my device connected wirelessly via my phone, at least, to the Connect IQ Store on my phone.
