Garmin Pay Asking for Passcode Every Time – Advice?

Hi all,

I’m currently using a Venus Sq 2 running the latest software version (2.69), and I’ve noticed that Garmin Pay is asking for my passcode almost every single time I try to use it, even if I’ve just unlocked it recently or haven't removed the watch from my wrist. From what I understand, the passcode should only be required every 24 hrs  or when the watch is removed.

I’ve already tried:

  • Restarting the watch

  • Double-checking that the watch stays on my wrist and has a good fit

  • Calling the local support center 

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this a bug in version 2.69, or is there something I might have overlooked in the settings?

Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
