This issue has been reported by a user of Venu 2 and is the exact issue in my Venu Sq2.

The strange part is, it is absolutely fine when removed and kept on a table. The timer will repeat as long as there is battery power. It randomly fails when you need it the most, that is when you are counting on it while wearing it and exercising or running.
