battery dying and the watch died after update

hello, my watch show a sign of extreme battery drop after the last update, the battery even decrease by 20% after 5 minutes on stand by after fully charged. i got a blue triangle sign then my watch wont turn on without being connected to the power supply. Brought it to the official store i bough it and they make an estimation price over half the price of the new watch and could be more expensive, my warranty is out on December 2024. Any solution for my case since i saw a lot of people get the same trouble after the last update

    I am so mad. My watch is 2 years 2 months old. Like 2 weeks ago I noticed that I have to charge it every two days, 3 days ago I noticed that it didn’t last 8hours. Today it doesn’t turn on without being connected to a charger. I am trying to fix it because I can’t believe I have wasted so much money…

    I contacted garmin and they also offered an expensive replacement.(over a half of original price). It’s funny because you get a replacement which is most likely somebody else’s watch with a battery replaced (or even your own) but they tell you the battery is irreplaceable.

    i bought this watch to have it for years and I was in love with it. Now I see that it is a very filthy practice of garmin and I will never buy their watch again. I didn’t want to spend so much money on a watch but I have with the purpose of having it for years. And now it breaks right after 2 years when I have to pay for a “new-old” one. 

    Disgusting move Garmin. Shame on you, really. I am very much disgusted and for those thinking of buying  - DO NOT BUY GARMIN VENU SQ 2 MUSIC if you respect your money.
