This morning, after charging my Sq 2 via the charger cable connected to my laptop's USB port, I lost the bluetooth connection to my iPhone. Have not been able to reconnect, despite having:
- Power-cycled the Sq 2 (multiple times)
- Turned bluetooth off/on on the iPhone (multiple times)
- Rebooted the iPhone
- Reset (save data) the Sq 2
All attempts to re-pair, or connect a "new device" report nothing there. Have connected to Garmin Express on a PC and had it synch the device, which reported an unspecified error. Express otherwise reports the Sq 2 is up to date.
The watch re-started today's step count after the reset, but the Garmin Connect website reports full data for the day.
Appreciate any pointers on getting this going again. (Seems two years is the limit on fitness devices-- been through to F*tB*ts, each of which died after two years--and now that the Garmin has reached that age, it appears to have gone haywire.)
