Just had knee replacement surgery, and had been "counting" on my Venu Sq 2's help in tracking/encouraging my rehab. Unfortunately, when using a walker, the Venu Sq 2 is tracking step count very poorly. Usually (i.e., pre-surgery) the Garmin step count usually outpaces the generic iPhone's 'Health' app's count by around a third; it under-counts compared to the Apple "Fitness' app, by about the same amount.
Now using my walker, Garmin is majorly under-counting steps. Yesterday, for example, Apple 'Health' counted 1,455 steps, 'Fitness' counted 1,623, and Garmin counted 873--off by around half.
Now, while I wear the Venu Sq 2 all the time, my phone is not on my person every time I get up for the bathroom.
