Setting or lack of feature?

I have a Venu sq2 and I am not able to participate in expeditions. Is this a setting or it can’t track floors or elevation change?

    The Venu Sq 2 does not have the floor tracking feature, like the Venu 2 Plus and Venu 3. The watch needs to be able to track floors climbed to participate in the climbing expeditions. 

    Expeditions are long term challenges that feature the equivalent hike or climb distance of popular mountain and trail destinations throughout the world.

    Hike: Tracks distance based on daily steps.

    Climb: Tracks ascension based on daily floors climbed. (To see if your device has this feature, refer to your owner's manual).
