Venu SQ2 watch resetting when starting activity?

Sync your watch before the reset to ensure today's stats are current. Everything is saved in Garmin Connect, both the app and the web site, as long as you continue to log in with your current Garmin account.

This happens to my SQ 2 sometimes as well. 
It's rather random when it will happen.
My sw version is 2.53, and my wacht is a month old.

My sq2 was on warranty so I’ve sent it back and waiting for the new one. Garmin has said no one else has reported the issues but I have sent them videos and photos. They so far have been really good so if it bugs you maybe you can do the same. It is annoying and I hope it does get fixed if they keep seeing the issue arise 

Sorry to hear that. I would at least contact Garmin Support to see what they can do for you.

I actually just did via email support so it could be linked to me last case and the email threads there. Currently waiting on a reply. It definitely sucks. I am actively dieting and trying to stay healthy and not being able to rely on my watch to keep myself motivated and in-line is frustrating. I switched from Fitbit too and now I kind of wish i didn’t.
