Move Alert prompts me to get moving even when I'm walking

I have a Venu Sq2 (v2.41) and the Move Alert shows a strange behavior: it tells me to move even when I'm walking fast in the street!

It's so useless that I ended up turning it off.

I did a factory reset since I upgraded to v2.41, by the way.

  • The first level of the move alert is that you've not taken "enough" steps in the past hour, so you can get one if you are currently walking, as you don't have "enough" steps for the past hour

  • Thanks for clarifying.

Users don't know the algorithm. They just notice it's weird to receive an alert "time to get moving" precisely when they're moving. This should be fixed.

  • I was cleaning the house and dishes and walking which means I was walking and stand up like 90 minutes in 100 minutes window. Made a coffee and just when I was going to sit down for coffee my Garmin watch warned me to move. Algorithm looks also problematic.
