Most of the time there's a few seconds delay receiving notifications on the watch. OS version 2.36
My pebble time from 2015 gets notifications either instantly, and this is true, sometimes before the phone itself vibrates. There is zero reason instant isn't possible.
This has been the case since the watch was released.
and increase the notification display length.
