Venu 4 still crashing after software update 15.52 when used with music over bluetooth

After two shorter runs without issues my Venu 4 crashed today after around 7.3 miles when I listened to music over Bluetooth.

I got the updated software.

Garmin just closed the other thread and announced victory apparently without testing the solution.

    I updated to 15.52 but yesterday in a 20km run the audio shuttering over bluetooth happened so many times to the point I had to stop the music as it was impossible to hear. Actually the audio shuttering was happening also during the 1km split over bluetooth even without music.

    Is 15.52 supposed to fix this issue or do I need beta 16.16?

    That's it for me and Garmin. I'm already listing my watch for sale online. I'm out.

    As you said, Garmin closed one thread saying it was solved already, so I ran my first half-marathon on beta 16.16, with music downloaded on my watch and with bluetooth to the headphones, which should already worked. BUT passing 5k on the run, the watch crashed and had to restart it, so there is no solution yet for this and it is taking way too long, patience is running out right now.

    Mine also crashed again on sunday, 1. February after just 10 minutes of running. Beta 16.16. This issue clearly has not been fixed, neither on 15.52 nor on 16.16.

    We’ve released software version 16.28 for the Venu 4, and would like to ask anyone experiencing crashes while listening to music over Bluetooth during an activity to please update to this latest version to see if the issue persists.

    This update will automatically be synced to your device through the Garmin Connect app or Garmin Express. However, if you have not received it yet, you can manually download it to your watch by selecting Menu > Settings > System > Software Update. 

    If you’ve updated your Venu 4 to version 16.28 and are still experiencing crash/shut down/reboot issues while listening to music during an activity, please comment on this thread:  Venu 4 crashes when listening to music on version 16.28
