How does the scratch resistance of the Garmin Venu 4 compare to the Forerunner 955 in everyday use?

I found the following facts on the web about the vulnerability of the venue 4:

  • Uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3

  • Offers moderate scratch resistance

  • More prone to micro‑scratches from everyday contact with metal, stone, or gym equipment

  • The stainless‑steel bezel can also show marks over time

The Forrunner seems to be much better here:

  • Uses Corning Gorilla Glass DX

  • Provides good to very good scratch resistance

  • Significantly less likely to develop micro‑scratches in daily wear

  • Designed for outdoor and sports use, making it more durable overall

Both watches are in a similar price range, so I'm surprised that Garmin makes the watch appear to be much more susceptible to scratches on paper.

I used the Forrunner 955 three times a week at the gym and even after more than three years, there are still hardly any scratches.

I would like to know how bad the Venu 4's susceptibility to scratches really is and whether there are any differences between the colors?
