I've recently bought the Venu 4 as a replacement for my older Garmin watch. The new Venu 4 however has an incredibly annoying bug which severely limits daily usage: No shortcuts by swiping right from the watch face. This means that you need multiple UI interactions to just access Garmin Pay.
This bug makes Garmin Pay pretty much useless and obsolete, as taking my physical bank card out of my physical wallet is way faster and easier.
Somehow Garmin sells this as a 'feature', and state they have a new place for 'customizing controls'. This 'feature' however completely misses the point of easy and fast access, because it requires multiple tedious and finnicky interactions with the button and touch screen. There's so many online complaints about this, that I humbly request Garmin to realize that this 'feature' turned out to be a case of bad UX design. Please bring back the fast access option to Garmin Pay by swiping right from the WatchFace.
Currently I'm forced to keep using my old Garmin watch for everyday use, and the new Venu 4 just for sports. This is ridiculous. A premium sports watch like the Venu 4 should not have this kind of dumb annoyance.
