Current day weather rain metric always on 0%

 - Seems like the software can't take that data for the current day so it will always present 0% as a default number even though every other weather app says rain and its raining outside. For upcoming days it does present a percentage oh and btw the icon is correct. It might say 0% but show a rain icon for today so the problem is probably the inability to extract the rain metric number for the current day.

  • Same issue:

The temperature, the current weather icon and background ARE correct.

But the rain percentage is completely off. Most of the times it displays 0% whatever the weather, even if it is currently raining.
Same thing for the upcoming days, rain percentage is very often completely wrong.

It is not 100% reproductible though, I would say that the value is wrong and stuck to 0 maybe 90% of the time. But sometimes current rain percentage seem to display something realistic. I really don't know what trigger it.

It seems to be a long standing issue, I don't know why Garmin has not adressed it yet. Maybe it depends on the country or the reference weather station, but I found multiple example of other users with the same issue here on garmin.com, or other forums like reddit (for example, but there are many others: https://www.reddit.com/r/Garmin/comments/1mjga28/garmin_venu_3_weather_wtf/

  • Correction of my previous message: off values for rain are not limited to "0%". It seems that I also sometimes get "random" percentage of rain for days with perfect weather and no chance of raining at all (with a full yellow sun pictogram on Garlin, other app/websites showing 0% of rain, and clear sky outside).
