My suggestion is this kind of screen protector, the one in the picture. I don't know what it's called in English. It's very durable. You can swim with it without any problems. The only downside is that the edges aren't attached to the screen; they're open when viewed from the side. Only the middle ring is attached. It's a little troublesome to apply, and it might leave some adhesive residue, but it will disappear on its own after a few days.

This screen protector has black edges that don't adhere to the screen, but a transparent ring in the middle that does.

das ist richtig, "reichlich" Vorschläge, aber die Frage ist ja, welche taugt etwas? Ich hatte ja wie bereits geschrieben eine gekauft, die halt leider nix taugt, 
deshalb hier die Frage nach persönlichen Empfehlungen, damit man nicht 10 Stück kaufen muss, von denen nur eine etwas taugt.

I will not make any suggestions here for competitive reasons.

I can tell you which ones I use for the Garmin Venu 4: BROTECT Full-Cover Matte Screen Protector for Garmin Venu 4 (45 mm) (2 pieces) - Full-Screen Display Protector, 3D Curved, Anti-Reflection is what it's called.

According to Amazon, it is made of thermoplastic polyurethane. My experience with it is very good. It also fits to the curvature at the edge and does not protrude. The protector does not have a black border, so I can see the entire display clearly. The Venu 3 and my Venu 2 have a screen protector with a black border.

Ich kann dir schreiben welche ich für die Garmin Venu 4 benutze:
BROTECT Full-Cover Schutzfolie Matt für Garmin Venu 4 (45 mm) (2 Stück) - Full-Screen Displayschutz-Folie, 3D Curved, Anti-Reflexion nennt die sich.

Sie besteht, laut Amazon aus Thermoplastisches Polyurethan.
Meine Erfahrungen damit sind sehr gut.
Sie schmiegt sich auch an der Krümmung am Rand an und steht nicht hervor. Einen schwarzen Rand hat die Folie auch nicht so dass ich das gesamte Display gut sehen kann.
Die Venu 3 und meine Venu2 haben eine Schutzfolie mit schwarzen Rand.

habe gesehen, dass Du bei Amazon zu der Brotect eine Meinung abgegeben hast. Wenn man sich generell zu Brotect die Rezenzionen ansieht, 
schneiden die meistens nicht gut ab. Wegen Kleberesten oder das die Folie nicht gut am Rand hält. Das hat mich bis jetzt abgehalten. 

Wichtigster Punkt ist eben, dass die Sensibilität der Oberfläche nicht abnimmt. Aber Du hast ja geschrieben, dass Touch und wischen sehr gut funktioniert.

PS: Du hast ja die matte Version, hilft die gut gegen das spiegeln von Sonnenlicht und sind die Farben noch ordentlich?

Well, the reviews are a guideline for me and not a final decision. I have already gone through several protective films myself and hope that with the film I described, I have found the right one. Since I am satisfied with it so far, I mentioned it.

Genau deshalb hatte ich hier im Forum gefragt, damit man eine "echte" Meinung bekommt ;-) Vielen Dank, ich werde es mit der Brotect einmal probieren, 
da die andere einfach nichts für mich ist. Bei Amazon weiß man sowieso nicht, welchen Rezis man da vertrauen kann. Ich nehme es als groben Richtwert
aber in Foren bekommt man meistens die echten Erfahrungen/Infos.

If you apply the film properly, it also sticks at the edges. The surface is still very easy to use and does not reflect. Wiping off is not a problem. The film only has minimal glare from the sun, and the colors can be seen in all their glory. What does occur, however, is that the films can appear smudged depending on the viewing angle. In my opinion, this is due to dirt on the fingers' skin and can be remedied by cleaning the film. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my films, and the main reason for me is to avoid damage to the surface of the Venu 4.

I don't want to talk more about it here because you should try the films yourself and form your own opinion. Good luck.

Wenn man die Folie ordentlich anbringt denn klebt diese auch an den Rändern .Die Oberfläche ist immer noch sehr gut zu bedienen und spiegelt nicht. Das Wischen geht ohne Probleme .Sonnenreflexionen hat die Folie nur gering und die Farben sind in voller Pracht zu sehen. Was aber nicht ausbleibt ist das die Folien , je nach Blick, verwischt aussehen. Das hängt meines Erachtens mit den Verschmutzungen auf der Haut der Finger zusammen und kann durch reinigen der Folie bereinigt werden. Ich bin insgesamt voll zufrieden mit meinen Folien und der Hauptgrund ist für mich die Beschädigungen auf der Oberfläche der Venu4 zu vermeiden.

Ich will hier nicht weiter darüber reden weil probiere die Folien aus und du wirst eine eigene Meinung darüber bekommen. Viel Glück
